Gmail tasks usability nonsense

I like google services and mostly GMail. About two years ago Gmail team added tasks support. At the beginning I was very excited about that news, but suddenly realized that it is totally unusable.

No doubt googlers created a very good implementation of Ta-Da list, but it has one terrible issue: TASK LIST IS NOT VISIBLE!

The only reason to create Ta-Da list is to see tasks that should be done every time you check your mail. However GMail tasks are placed inside popup that should be called on demand. WTF?!

GMails tasks exist for two years, but it is still impossible to bind them to the right side of GMail main window. If anybody knows a cure for that please drop a comment =)
